Anyone could share their writings
Kevin Szántai, a trainee of the Aspect Group’s job-shadowing program, delegated by Dialóg Association, has realized his own mini-project in Eger, with the help of Szövegtrafik. The slam poetry evening, spiced with music, was organised around the theme of Women’s Day.
This is how Kevin saw the March event:
The venue was almost completely full and it turned out to be a very atmospheric event.
“We started with a themed segment where newcomers, including some who had travelled from Budapest to read, were able to showcase their work alongside the established slammer. The acoustic concert created a special atmosphere, which further enhanced the mood. The evening ended with an open mic session, where anyone could share their writings, without any thematic constraints. All in all, the programme provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate women’s voices through different art forms and to provide a memorable and positive experience for all those who participated.”
The programme is implemented in partnership with Civilizáció.
